I am honored and privileged to be entering my ninth year as Principal to serve the students and staff of Rosehill Elementary. A graduate of Abilene Christian University, I began my career in education as a teacher in Aldine ISD. After earning my Master of Education from Sam Houston State University, I joined Spring ISD as an Assistant Principal at Jenkins Elementary in 1999. Five years later, I became the Assistant Principal for Tomball Junior High School. In 2009, I was named Principal of Rosehill Elementary. To further develop my skills and leadership abilities, I earned my Superintendent Certification in 2013 from SHSU and completed the Rice University Education Entrepreneurship Program in 2016. This innovative program is one of the nation's foremost developmental programs for educators committed to leading public schools. My family and I enjoy being part of the Tomball community. It has enriched our lives in many ways. My wife is a teacher in Tomball ISD. My oldest son attends Michigan State University and my youngest son attends Tomball High School.
Our goal at Rosehill Elementary is to guide our students to “rise and shine” reaching their highest potential. We can achieve this only with the support and dedication from parents and families. It takes the continued involvement of each child’s home to truly develop the skills and knowledge to be a productive and contributing member of society. I encourage you to stay in contact with your child’s teacher throughout the school year. I also encourage you to visit this website often for news and information on events here at Rosehill. Please take the time to read our monthly newsletter “Rosehill Reporter” that can be found as a link on the Homepage at the beginning of each month. Working together we will provide the foundation your child needs to not only be successful in school, but in the workplace and in life.
