Currently we have raised $11,167 towards our $13,000 goal.
Right now, we are very close to being able to purchase 2 pieces of new playground equipment - the Ten Spin (like a merry-go-round) & the Buddy Rocker (a multi person teeter totter)!!!! OUR SLL students REALLY WANT this playground equipment!!!! Recess will be so much more fun!

It takes all of us to make this happen for our students!!!!
REMEMBER TO WEAR YELLOW MONDAY, APRIL 3RD!
Tomball ISD along with the Great State of Texas is kicking off Texas Reads One Book on Monday, April 3rd with Coach Jason Garret of the Dallas Cowboys reading Chapter 1 aloud! All students from grades 2-5 will be receiving their very own copy of “ The Lemonade War” by Jacqueline Davies to keep! Many elementary schools and intermediate schools have special events planned throughout the month of April such as, “Pucker Up Pictures”, Vocabulary Games, Lemon Makey Makey Markerspaces, and Lemonade Stands. Several schools will have a “When life gives you lemons… trees” in their schools. Some of the Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, and PE teachers even have a few lemons up their sleeves. The secondary schools and several clubs are planning to help support the younger students by making signs and banners, and passing out lemonade to the elementary schools.
The Texas Reads One Book is intended to be a book that is shared with families at home. That is why each chapter will have a link to a video in which many of Tomball’s finest will be reading the book aloud. Families will be able to pull videos up on a computer at home or teachers will be able to use the videos in their classrooms. Tomball ISD encourages literacy throughout our community.
So let’s have a great kick off by wearing a yellow/lemon themed shirt (with jeans if you would like) on Monday, April 3rd !
