Spelling Test

We will take our Spelling Test over the Long i words tomorrow - sight words: could, us, than, our, first.
ALSO:  one more thing about the field trip - we will be going to a park with a large playing area, we would love any kick balls/soccer balls to take with us.  Make sure you write your last name on the ball so that it makes it home safely. :)

Field Trip 3/29/18

First Grade 2018 Field Trip

Tomorrow (Thursday, March 29th), is our class field trip to Little Beakers in The Woodlands.  Here are a few reminders:

  • Please make sure your child arrives at school no later than 8:45 – we will load buses at 9 am
  • If you signed up to send your child’s lunch please remember to do so, but if for some reason they don’t have one then there will be sack lunches available to purchase before we leave.
  • Wear a baseball shirt (Opening day), Fun Run shirt, or any school spirit shirt.
  • Wear tennis shoes.
  • The kids are welcome to wear their yellow hats from the Fun Run – it will make my class easy to spot.
  • If the park is too wet from the recent rain then we will return to the school earlier than expected. (we will have an indoor picnic)
  • If you need your child for early checkout (Ex; a doctor’s appt.) we should be back no later than 2:00 pm.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

It will ask for the teacher username:  mdavis274

They will click on their name and password that they chose.  It is specific to their reading level and will move up with them, which is awesome!  They will be using it in class today and feel free to utilize it at home too!!

Sound Presentation

Technical Difficulties

Due to some district technical difficulties with the program used to upload grades; we have been asked to send Wednesday Folders home on Thursday instead of Wednesday this week.  Progress reports should be printed by then.  Thank you for your patience.
