PTO
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a collective effort of parents and
teachers/staff in making Rosehill a wonderful place for your kids.
PTO contributes all monies raised directly to support and enrichment to Rosehill
Elementary. Each year we help fulfill the staff wish list (such as books, classroom
supplies, and more), pay for Cultural Arts Programs, Field Trips, Field Days, purchase
additional educational materials, and much more!
Rosehill has a very active parent population. There are many opportunities to get
involved through PTO sponsored activities or by fulfilling various school volunteer
needs.
The PTO is managed by a Board made up of several parents, each with responsibility
for a specific aspect of supporting the school. The board is approved in the spring for
the following year by families who are PTO members.
The Board typically meets on the first Friday of each month but please check the
website for specific dates. The RES administration attends the Board meeting and is an
integral part of our team as well as our advisor. We discuss progress within the various
activities and make recommendations for future direction.
